Recently Lisa Jansen presented me with a beautiful blogger award.
Lisa was one of the lovely ladies I swapped with recently at Convention. Thanks Lisa. This award comes with a few rules, after I share 10 things about myself I must then pass the award onto other beautiful bloggers.
So here goes:
- When I was 14 I ran through a plate glass door that I thought was open. I still have the scars on my nose and hand.
- I have seen ABBA perform...Yes the real ABBA! They toured Australia in 1976 when I was 10 and My mother took my sister and I to see them. I was the envy of all the girls at school.
- I love seeing other countries. I’ve holidayed or toured on all the continents except South America either growing up with my family or independently.
- During the 90’s I lived and worked in the UK for 2 1/2 years. I mostly worked as a Live-in Nanny in Edinburgh, Oxfordshire and London. I had the best time.
- I met my husband- to- be on a Contiki ski trip to Austria, During Christmas 1995.
- My husband proposed to me after 3 1/2 months of going out! We were both working in London and he took me across to Paris for a weekend and proposed to me along the Seine at Midnight.
- I was once greeted at a door by Michael Hutchence who was wearing a Kaftan! OK this does require and explanation. While I was working in London as a Nanny in 1995, I looked after 2 young boys who were at the same school as Sir Bob Geldof’s girls. At the time Michael Hutchence had just shacked up with Bob’s wife Paula amid a lot of controversy. Paula and Michael hosted a 6th Birthday party for Pixie and one of my charges Oliver was invited. It was a fancy dress party and yours truly had to drop Oliver there. I knocked at the door and there we were greeted by Michael Hutchence in....you guessed it...a kaftan!
- I am a sucker for Disneylands. I’ve been to the one in California when I was quite young, the one in Tokyo and the one in Paris and would love to go to more.
- If I won Lotto I wouldn’t change a lot, just update to a bigger house cause our little duplex is too small. I would still send my kids to the same great public school and ...Oh of course I would see more of the world.
- I would love to cook for a living.
There you have it, 10 things you didn’t know about me.
I have chosen other beautiful bloggers out there, some are fellow team members, some are people I swapped with at Convention and some are people who’s blogs I just like looking at. They are:
